Troubleshooting

The app won't start after installation

On macOS, right-click the app and select "Open" if Gatekeeper blocks it. On Windows, you may need to click "More info" then "Run anyway" on the SmartScreen warning.

AI auto-tagging is slow or not working

AI processing runs locally on your device. Performance depends on your hardware. Ensure you have at least 4 GB of free RAM. Try closing other applications to free up resources.

Thumbnails are not generating

VideoTagger uses FFmpeg for thumbnail generation. If thumbnails fail, try re-scanning the folder from the app menu. Ensure your video files are not corrupted.
