VideoTagger sends a minimal set of app-health events to UNVELL servers so that we can monitor stability, platform compatibility, and overall usage. Events are batched and sent over HTTPS. The events sent are strictly limited to: - app_launch — app version, platform (darwin/win32/linux), and locale - app_active_ping — session duration, sent every 10 minutes while the app is open - app_quit — session duration - error_occurred — the error message with absolute file paths removed, plus a short hash of the stack trace - auth_state — whether sign-in succeeded, failed (with the Firebase failure code), or signed out We do not transmit video file names, file paths, tag contents, video content, raw stack traces, IP addresses retained beyond standard server logs, or any other personally identifiable information beyond an anonymous session ID and — when you are signed in — your account UID for support correlation. You can disable this collection at any time from Settings → General → Privacy in the desktop app. When disabled, no events are queued or sent.
